We’re really excited to announce that Ustadh Nouman will come again to Indonesia for Story Night! This is the third time Story Night in Jakarta.

WHAT IS A STORY NIGHT?

Story Night is the most exciting program presented by Bayyinah Institute due to the unique experience it provides. Thousands of Muslims, non-Muslims, people who are new to Islam, and children have attended Story Night programs and walked away with a new appreciation for Allah’s Book. The focus of Story Night isn’t just to tell a story. Rather, it’s to help us appreciate the style and method Allah uses to teach us stories in the Quran. We hope you will join us inshaa Allah!

WHAT IS THE THEME?

The story night theme this time is Youth and Courageous (Al-Kahf).

Theme Description

When we step out of childhood into the raging sea of young adulthood a new world opens up inside and outside of ourselves.

The body is different, emotions are different, urges are different and the world outside looks completely different.

A new urge to have no overshadowing authority takes hold.

Whether it’s temptation, beauty, fitting in, being valued, status, freedom, nice things or entertainment, every want is extreme and propels us to be recklessly impulsive. 

How does the Quran help guide us on how to navigate this volatile age that has the power to shape the rest of our lives?

The youth of the cave isn’t just a story. It’s a powerful, inspirational roadmap on how to navigate these stormy seas.

This story night is dedicated to our youth. Its title is referring both to the legacy immortalized by Allah’s words and perhaps the most important and massive slice of the ummah that this story seeks to invoke.

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?

It will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 10 AM & 7 PM (2 sessions, same theme).

The event will be approximately 3.5 hours long. 

The venue is in KARTIKA EXPO CENTER, Balai Kartini. Jl. Gatot Subroto No.Kav. 37, RT.6/RW.3 Kuningan, Setiabudi, Kota Jakarta Selatan, Daerah Khusus Ibukota, Jakarta 12950.

WILL I GET CONFIRMATION ONCE I THE PAYMENT MADE?

You will receive an invoice in email with order details. We recommend that you print the invoice or keep it on your mobile phone so you have the payment receipt when arriving at Story Night. Please check the spam folder if you don’t see any in your inbox.

WHEN CAN I EXCHANGE MY E-TICKET TO THE WRISTBAND/PHYSICAL TICKET?

CAN MY TICKET BE USED BY ANOTHER PERSON?

Yes, you only need to send your e-ticket file (containing QR code) sent by e-mail from Eventbrite to that person.

CAN I RESCHEDULE FROM THE STORY NIGHT MORNING SESSION TO NIGHT OR NIGHT SESSION TO MORNING?

If you want to reschedule, you should contact Eventbrite. Our suggestion is that you can give the ticket that you have bought to others, then you can buy another ticket according to the schedule you want.

WILL THERE BE A TRANSLATOR AVAILABLE FOR BAHASA SPEAKERS?

Yes. Please bring an earphone for those who need translation in Bahasa Indonesia during the lecture.

HOW WILL SEATING BE ORGANIZED AT THE VENUE?

Seating will be first come, first served. 

WILL KIDS CORNER/CHILDCARE BE PROVIDED?

Childcare will not be available at the venue.

Children above the age of 7 need to purchase a ticket and we do not recommend to bring any under that age.

WILL THERE BE PRIORITY SEATS?

Yes. We will provide them for elderly, disability and pregnant women.

WHERE CAN I FIND TOILET AND MUSHOLLA IN THE EVENT?

There will be signage at the venue. Both toilets inside Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini will be used for women only and men may use the portable toilet provided.
